Point cloud processing and cleanup

    • Import multiple point clouds generated from digitalization and measurement machines (3D scanners, CMM machines, touch probes, etc.) in ASCII, STL or other formats
    • Alignment and stitching of point clouds or meshes in to a single model  
      * Requires registration option
    • Process and edit the point cloud
    • Remove noise and redundancy
    • Smooth and clean data

    • Convert the point cloud into a triangulated mesh

    • Analyze any number of mesh or surfaces
    • Compare distances, areas, volumes, and a variety of key metrics

The function fills the holes in the triangular mesh

Mesh Refinement

Improve the mesh by adding new vertices and faces
Triangle mesh smoothing

Smoothens the triangle mesh or point cloud
Manual and Global Registration

Make rough manual registration of two or more meshes then perform a global alignment

Leios 2010 Overview

Leios 2010 is a fast, reliable and user-friendly solution for 3D scan mesh editing and reverse engineering. The application acquires data from any 3D scanner and transform a point cloud into a mathematical NURBS-based model with minimal effort. With total control of each step, users can analyze 3D data with powerful inspection tools included in the package.
